This very attractive stone-built village house with light green shutters is situated at the heart of the pretty Provençal village of Paradou, conveniently right next door to the boulangerie. Close by is the pretty market town of Maussane and the spectacular hilltop village of Les Baux de Provence. All the attractions of Les Alpilles are within an easy drive.
From its village house entrance on the street, the house opens to the rear to a stunning, large terrace with swimming pool (16 x 7m), and several sitting areas, both shaded and unshaded, including under a lovely mature weeping willow tree. There are small lawned areas to either end of the terrace with fruit and olive trees and a small herb and lavender garden. Directly outside the house is a beautiful pergola-covered dining area, with vines and flowering plants.
The interiors have been newly renovated throughout and decorated and furnished very tastefully in keeping with traditional Provençal style. Many of the rooms have beamed ceilings, tiled floors with rugs and the walls have been painted in warm creams and yellows. Amenities include satellite television, and air conditioning in the larger sitting room and all bedrooms (except the upstairs single bedroom).
