Pyrotechnical Art Festivals of Cannes
Six evenings during which the Bay of Cannes will embrace a thousand fires, ephemeral coloured stars and other compositions created by the greatest international pyrotechnicians. A marvel for an ever-increasing audience; every year over 700,000 spectators attend the Cannes Festival of Pyrotechnic Art as a whole.

Ready for MIPIM 2019 ?
MIPIM is one of the largest events in the Cannes congress calendar and is the 'kick off' event which takes place in March each year. This is the event when the global property community visit the South of France to discuss trends, new developments and of course to network on a truly global basis.
This year’s MIPIM edition will welcome more than 26,000 delegates from over 100 countries to its 30th edition in March 2019.

Festival Pantiero - Cannes 2019
Each summer Cannes hosts the Pantiero Music festival over four days. Presenting talented, original and unusual artists to its audience, the Pantiero Festival has established itself as one of the major events in the summer calendar.
As welll as local and regional acts there are some larger international artists invited to perform, giving the public a great selection of live musical performances. The venue will be open late fr the duration of the festival so that the programme of selected artists can be fully appreciated in this great location.
Piknic Electronik - Cannes 2019
A great way to spend a different Sunday listening to electronic music.
Piknic Electronik is now a big event in the Canadian city and also in Barcelona, where it started in 2012. An unpretentious electronic music party.. during the day !

Classical music in the beautiful old town of Cannes 2019
For nearly a week, a public square in the heart of the old town is transformed into an open air concert hall. From Mozart to Chopin; piano to strings; the performances vary each night and include orchestras, soloists and a number of talented young musicians. A magical day across France with a true celebration of all things musical. Free concerts in the streets, in venues and throughout the country. Always on the 21st June, the festival this year takes place on a Sunday guaranteeing a weekend of musical celebration.
The Long Night of Museums
The Long Night of Museums is an annual event where museums across Europe remain open late into the night, and Antibes is no exception. On this occasion, the closing time of the museums is postponed to approximately one in the morning, which allows the public to visit the participating museums by night, and guess what ! It's free !

European Heritage Days are an annual event in France where members of the public, and tourists are encourage to immerse themselves in the local history and culture. The Iles de Lerins
Just opposite the Bay of Cannes, a short boat ride away from La Croisette, the beautiful Lérin Islands await you.

Palais des Festivals
This is the official conference and events centre, home of the famous Cannes Film Festival, MIPCOM, MIPTV and many other international events which take place in Cannes each year. There is also a programme of events which takes place each year including the 'Salon du Chocolate' and many music events and concerts. Visit the website for details of events throughout the year.
Le Suquet is the old town of Cannes and sits above the main town and port. The cobbled streets wind upwards towards the Church and the Museum. It's all well worth the walk, or take the little tourist 'train' that starts on the Croisette.
Abbey de Lerins
The Lerins Islands sit just 15 minutes off of the coast in Cannes and are home to the Abbey with its winery, restaurant and more. The boat departs at regular intervals from the port.
Tennis Club Cannes
For the history... In 1879 there was only one tennis court in France - in Cannes! It was built by Sir Thomas Robinson Woolfield, leading property developer in the town.
By 1881 several courts were installed in the grounds of Hôtel Beau Site.
The Cannes Tennis Club, created in 1907, is very active today. Situated at 11 rue Lacour, it has five hard courts (Dur) and two clay courts (Terre Battue) for hire.

Courts can be hired by the hourand tennis lessons are available for adults and children.
The other municipal club is Tennis Montfleury, located 21 avenue Beauséjour - lovely setting near the swimming pool. It offers 7 courts among which 3 clay and 4 in synthetic resin. 6 are lighted. Tennis lessons also available.
