The Long Night of Museums
The Long Night of Museums is an annual event where museums across Europe remain open late into the night, and Antibes is no exception. On this occasion, the closing time of the museums is postponed to approximately one in the morning, which allows the public to visit the participating museums by night, and guess what ! It's free !

Nice Jazz Festival
Each the annual Nice Jazz Festival takes place in and around Nice. The town is alive with music and dancing and there are always some amazing artists featured. The advice is to buy your tickets early for this great South of France Summer event.
Welcome to one of the largest carnivals in the world which takes place in Nice each February. There are parades of amazing floats both day and night and the theme for the carnival changes each year. The Citadel of Villefranche-Sur-Mer
Sitting above the coastal town of Villefranche sur Mer the Citadel dates from the 1500's. Used as a fort in several wars, the building now houses various administrative offices.
Chapelle de Saint Pierre des Pecheurs
Of cultural significance, this chapel is decorated with the works of artist Jean Cocteau. Each of Cocteau's surrealist works is explained in English. There is a small entry fee. Opening hours vary, please see the website for more details.
